FAQ's

How long does the hair have to be to get waxed?

- Typically 3-4 weeks of hair growth depending on the person or approximately ¼ of an inch, about as long as a grain of rice.

How long should I wait to exfoliate after waxing?

How do I get rid of ingrown hairs?

Are the red bumps I get after waxing normal?

-Red bumps post-waxing are completely normal. They may last anywhere from 24-48 hours. Due to the hair being removed right from the root it may cause an initial shock to the pore, resulting in the small red bumps.

Can I shave between waxes?

-It is recommended that you do not shave between waxes as shaving effects the consistency in hair growth.  Shaving may also cause you to have a higher chance of ingrown hairs as it cuts the hair right to the skins surface.

Is Waxing Permanent?

-Waxing is only a semi- permanent hair removal method. Although waxing isn’t permanent, regular waxing appointments will result in the hair growing back thinner and at a slower rate.

Can I be waxed if I have done laser hair removal?

What can I expect during a Brazilian?

-During your Brazilian your smooth operator will bring you to the room and explain the preparation needed for your service. You will be provided with a wipe to freshen up before the service begins as well as towel to cover yourself while your smooth operator leaves the room to let you get ready. After all this your smooth operator will begin the service in a discrete way leaving you comfortable, smooth and hair free.

Can I be waxed when I have my period?

- You can be waxed when you have your period but please be aware that during menstruation your skin is more sensitive and your pain tolerance is lower. If you need to be waxed while menstruating please wear a tampon and tuck the sting in, as well as let your smooth operator know prior to your service.
